Gram flour

Gram flour, also known as besan, is a flour made from chickpeas. It makes a simple but excellent batter that only requires a pinch of salt and enough water to make the batter as thin or thick as you need it to be...a real boon to vegans!

You'll generally find it in the World foods aisle of a supermarket, though it may require some hunting down.
