FROM BOOK TO PODCAST:

A diary

August 4th 2024

Welcome to my weekly diary charting the ups and downs of turning my Victorian whodunnit, Octopus: Octavius Guy & The Case of the Throttled Tragedienne, into a podcast. I'm its author, Michael Gallagher. Beric Livingstone is its narrator.

Where Beric is at:

No word from Beric, but I've sent him my notes on The Interval and The Interval Continued (which basically say how wonderful they are – I could find nothing that needed attention).

Here Beric reads the second section of The Interval, when he's besieged in his own home by a stranger claiming to be his father.

"The Interval, Part 2"

Where I am at:

Me, I finally managed to listen to the whole of The Four Seasons with an ear out for snippets that might match my growing list of styles the transitions should reflect (e.g., neutral, ominous, quizzical...and now determined). The task seems a daunting one.

Till next week folks!
